Theatre Palisades Mainstage is casting: The Supporting Cast Director: Susan Stangl Producer: Sherry Coon Production Dates: April 13, 2012 - May 13, 2012 Friday, Saturday evenings Sunday matinees Character Breakdown: The Supporting Cast is a 1981 comedy about celebrity spouses set in a Malibu beach house. Auditions at Theatre Palisades: Sat. February 4th, 10am - 3pm Tues. February 7th, 7pm - 10pm Casting: Ellen: 40-65, pretty, charismatic hostess and leader of the group, composed but anxious Florrie: 35-50, former hairdresser and mother of five married to a famous actor; innocent, sweet, and a bit dim-witted Mae: 55-70, sophisticated, energetic, enthusiastic woman on the verge of a new life Sally: 35-60, neurotic, self-involved politician's wife with a comic air of tragedy who drowns her sorrows in alcohol Arnold: 40-70, fussy, insecure nurturer and perfectionist with a dry wit and a knack for physical comedy Physical comedy and improv skills a plus. All ethnicties encouraged to audition. Theatre Palisades Youth Theatre is casting: Brats in Space Dates & Times: Thursday, November 10th 4:30-6:30pm Saturday, November 12th 2-5pm Location: Theatre Palisades 941 Temescal Canyon Rd. Pacific Palisades CA 90272 What To Prepare: 1 minute of a song that shows your range. An accompanist will be present, but a capella auditions are fine. You will be asked to read from the script. Copies will be in the lobby of the theatre to read on site starting Wednesday, October 26th during Box Office hours (Wednesday - Saturday 3:30-6:30). Please do not take scripts from the theatre. You may read them in the lobby. Rehearsals: Starting Sat.
